Package Inspection

Peco InspX's technology sets the standard for inspecting packages and products

World class product manufacturing requires complex processes and controls.  In the blink of an eye, your corporate reputation or brand could be damaged by the discovery of the smallest contaminant undermining the integrity of your product in the marketplace.

Peco InspX manufactures industry-leading inspection systems designed to ensure product integrity meets the expected standards. Our clients range from Fortune 50 firms to single line producers globally. We inspect over 1 billion packages every day in food, beverage and pharmaceutical manufacturers’ plants. With this kind of experience, there’s a good chance we’ve already encountered inspection scenarios similar to yours.

Metal Container Inspection

Metal Container Inspection

X-ray inspection technology is the most robust method to inspect metal cans. ScanTrac systems can find defects and contaminants that other inspection solutions simply can’t detect. Metal detectors, for example, are not capable of reliably finding contaminants in metal containers.

Glass Container Inspection

Glass Container Inspection

All food, beverage and pharmaceutical manufacturers packaging in glass containers should incorporate X-ray inspection into their process; even the most robust QA process cannot prevent glass shards from ending up in the final product. The best rinsing or EBI process is not sufficient – given that glass shards can emerge during filling or sealing, the only reliable approach to keep glass out of end-product is to thoroughly inspect every single container and remove all contaminated packages.

Tray Inspection

Tray Inspection

The intuitive ScanTrac setup process allows producers to accomodate inspection of multiple types of trays. Once a run is finished with one type of product, the operator can select the next product to inspect from a pre-defined set of products unique to their production (set up and “learned” in advance) and the Scantrac is ready to inspect the new trays. The ease of setup is ideal for food processors packaging a wide variety of products.
